Membership Benefits & How to Apply As

Club Member

       Thai alumni who graduated from the University of Maryland  at College  
Park work in diversified fields, both in government and private sectors. The Club, therefore,
would like to take  this  auspicious  occasion to invite all alumni to become  members of the
Universities of Maryland Alumni Club (Thailand Chapter). The Club aims to serve  as a center
for   all  alumni  to  engage  in  opinion discussions and joint   activities. Subscribed members
will be informed of the Club's activities, which would be geared towards the benefit of all
members.
The Club plans to organize various activities as follows:
1. To publish the Club's newsletter to inform members of news and
    information concerned with the University of Maryland at College
    Park.
2. To organize conferences and academic seminars or related
     topics useful to members.
3. To arrange activities that are beneficial to the Thai society and
    educational, for example, to initially assist in the screening of
    applicants of UMCP, to provide information and training for
    individuals interested in studying at UMCP, to coordinate the
    exchange of lecturers between UMCP and universities in
   Thailand.
4. To organize annual activities aimed at establishing close ties
     between members, i.e., get-together party, sports competition,
     Kathin ceremony etc.

5. To maintain an updated list of contact  addresses of all alumni, which will be available to all
     members.
